Hello! I am Stella Lansill (She/They), a current freshman at the University of Michigan, where I am currently majoring in Dance and minoring in Writing. I am originally from Los Angeles, California, where I was engulfed in a large variety of cultures and communities. I attended multiple art-focused schools where I spent most of my time dancing and collaborating with other artists and modes of art. 

Art is critical to me, whether it be in the form of music, films, dance, photography, writing, etc. I am endlessly curious about my environment and am often inspired to create work that reflects my surroundings. I am deeply passionate about social justice and human rights and want to create work that brings people together and opens a place for conversation. Culture, community, and creativity have always been significant motivations for everything I do and choose to pursue. I hope those intentions are evident in this portfolio.
